Word around Detroit is the Oakland Athletics (due to their no money state) and the Chicago White Sox (due to rejected offer) are out of the Cody Johnson sweepstakes. Though, the Twins stay interested and now the Florida Marlins and the Baltimore Orioles may possibly be involved.

Various rumors suggest that Tigers’ LF Cody Johnson may be on his way out of Detroit. With the Tigers rebuilding, trading the 27 year old Johnson seems odd, but the Tigers may have concerns that his servered elbow ligament could have lingering affects on his production.
