OSR has learned that a deal for Kansas City’s slugging first baseman, Fred Tiers, is close to being completed. An anoymous sourced called the deal imminent. Tiers, an injury prone hitter with a career .946 OPS is being dealt for financial reasons, as he’s up for arbitration at the end of this season and the Royals [...] Quite a few big names in the Outahere trade market this year, with teams such as these all looking to deal MLB talent: Kansas City is pondering a full rebuild, but are rumored to have received little interest so far. Free agent OFer Billy Butler is drawing intrest from the Royals, Athletics and Cutthroats. The Cutthroats are said to be the leader for Butler.
