Market is pitching dominant once again

It appears that, once again, pitching is at an extreme premium in this league.  It’s showing.  Jake Wayne looks like he’s well on his way to making 40+ million a season for the first time in Outahere history, for better or for worse.  Mike Brown, who had a 5.18 ERA last year and a 4.65 career ERA has a bid standing currently at 13.5 million per season for 4 seasons.  Meanwhile, outfielder Carleton Young, who has a career .829 OPS, was signed for 600k per year by the Desperados.

My strategy has always been to look for steals in free agency.   Ever since I made a disaster of a move in signing Pascual Poveda to a long term deal, and having it backfire horribly, you will rarely, if ever, see me making a big move.  So my advice would be to find low, under the radar pitchers who may put up good numbers, and BUY BUY BUY on offense.  It’s cheap right now.
